Cambridge – meet the fabulous, and very French, Chipie shoes!

29 May

Todays post has a bit of a public information bent  – ish – as I wanted to let readers know that French fashion footwear favourites Chipie have come to Modish Cambridge and Saffron Walden, with what I think may well be the perfect summer shoe!  And so far, despite the dreadful weather in April, my customers agree!

Chipie are the only new brand ShoesieQ introduced to the shop this season, and I must say I’m really glad I took the plunge. We’re doing 3 different styles, some in bright colours, the others more muted, including some gorgeous plimsoles – like the ones from schooldays, but in a delicate sky blue and grey, plus some sneakers that can be worn with or without laces in a taupe and some rich berry shades. And they only cost £29.99 or £35.00 depending on the model and are REALLY comfy (as you’d expect from Modish). If you’d like to see pics of the other ones drop me a line or pop into the shop.

I love them so much I’m definitely having a pair. The only dilema is which ones. Because not only are they the perfect summer shoe, but I’ve also been told the word Chipie roughly translates to Minx. Which as luck would have it is the name of ShoesieQ’s cat! Coincidence, non? Whatever – I’m taking that as a message from the shoe-goddess that I’m meant to be taking a pair of these babies home ;o)

PS following popular demand here’s a (not very good!) pic of the full range of Chipie shoes at my shop

I love these shoes and have been hunting them out for a couple of years, they are so hard to explain ‘sort of trainers with no laces’ or ‘daps without laces, do you know what daps are?’ and so it goes on. Thanks so much for posting this, I am also a big fan of Sharon from fab at any age, so this blog definitely going on to my list!

Hello there. Merely desired to request a rapid dilemma.
I’m putting together my own website and also wish to realize where you’ve
got your current theme? Has been this free? Or perhaps seemed to be it compensated?
Could not apparently discover anything just like that one,
therefore with any luck , you’ll be able to ok, i’ll understand.
Thank you. PS, the sorry. Uk seriously isn’t my personal very first terminology.

Hi there – the theme is called Bueno and yes it is free. Hope that helps, ShoesieQ
