Modish gets the 360 degree treatment!

8 May

You may have heard of getting the 3rd degree, but last week Modish’s branch in Green Street Cambridge was treated to sometime, errmmmmm, 120x better than that, if ShoesieQ’s maths is correct (which, to be fair,it often isn’t).

Because the lovely and talented Mark Swanson  brought his special camera along, and low and behold in half an hour managed to Mark 360 toursmake Modish into a movie!

It’s really clever too, just like Google Street view where you can have a good old nosey at the outside of people’s houses (or is that just me?). Just click on the arrows and you can move around the entire shop, getting a really great close up view of every pair of shoes if you so wish.

The only very slight quibble, if ShoesieQ is being picky, is that Google says that you have to blur out any faces that appear. So if you check out the tour you’ll see that ShoesieQ rather resembles someone off of Crimewatch than her usual, ahem, more glamorous self…………..

And if you do decide to take a look you’ll see that for a bit of fun we added a few items that are less commonly found in an establishment selling fine footwear.

See if you can spot them –  here’s the link:,+Green+Street,+Cambridge,+United+Kingdom&hl=en&ll=52.206535,0.120367&spn=0.006042,0.016512&sll=52.206931,0.119719&layer=c&cid=15063782783467906736&panoid=n2H2AIS0_aEAAAQDMaXRZQ&cbp=13,303.6,,0,0&hq=Modish,+Green+Street,+Cambridge,+United+Kingdom&t=m&z=17&cbll=52.206912,0.119714

Impressive. What’s the prize for spotting the Teddies and the Tiggers? (I’m a size 9)

It is, isn’t it – Mark did a really good job. But am afraid my shoes only go up to a size 8 Paul 😉

Shoesie! Your beautiful shop….I can’t wait to visit. One of these days I will break my shoe piggy bank and go there in person. Its just the small matter of the transatlantic flight. But I will get there some day and I know I will have a difficult time not walking out with about a dozen pair. I spotted the stuffed animals, especially Tigger holding the nail polish!
