Cambridge – meet the fabulous, and very French, Chipie shoes!

Todays post has a bit of a public information bent  – ish – as I wanted to let readers know that French fashion footwear favourites Chipie have come to Modish Cambridge and Saffron Walden, with what I think may well be the perfect summer shoe!  And so far, despite the dreadful weather in April, my customers agree!

Chipie are the only new brand ShoesieQ introduced to the shop this season, and I must say I’m really glad I took the plunge. We’re doing 3 different styles, some in bright colours, the others more muted, including some gorgeous plimsoles – like the ones from schooldays, but in a delicate sky blue and grey, plus some sneakers that can be worn with or without laces in a taupe and some rich berry shades. And they only cost £29.99 or £35.00 depending on the model and are REALLY comfy (as you’d expect from Modish). If you’d like to see pics of the other ones drop me a line or pop into the shop.

I love them so much I’m definitely having a pair. The only dilema is which ones. Because not only are they the perfect summer shoe, but I’ve also been told the word Chipie roughly translates to Minx. Which as luck would have it is the name of ShoesieQ’s cat! Coincidence, non? Whatever – I’m taking that as a message from the shoe-goddess that I’m meant to be taking a pair of these babies home ;o)

PS following popular demand here’s a (not very good!) pic of the full range of Chipie shoes at my shop
